A poem I wrote for my brother, examining the feelings of transitioning in his absence, in perspective of his transition before he passed. Making myself cry.

The poem can be read for free on my substack, but I wanted to make it pretty for reasons.

This is beautiful...

Gabe: No no, don't cry... My mascara... 😭😭😭

*hugs*

I love this poem so much, it's so fantastic! And until I saw the years, I had no idea he was born the same year my sister was.

This poem is a masterclass in saying so much with so little, and really hammering emotions home.

Heh, I was also born the same year your sister was, then :)

Oh yeah LOL I guess that's how that works, huh? 🤦‍♀️ Which means I'm only 2 years older!
